See our review in the Southwark News... Down the stairs there is a bar, restaurant and lounging area that sprawl out beneath the brick arches of the bridge above them. It is low ceilinged and lit up by huge bowls of candles on the dark wood tables and it very cosy and welcoming. The other side of the staircase is a brightly lit bar, with people crowding around it and the whole place is set to laid back music. The third chamber to complete the underground warren is the dining room. It is in contrast to the others, with white table clothes, silver cutlery and high backed leather chairs. It is not a large room, but the space has been used very well, to incorporate several tables of varying sizes without them looking squashed. >> Download PDF to read more |
